Recipe ⬇️ This recipe is filled with tons of fiber & healthy fats, and can be customized with any of your favorite nuts, seeds, and other mix ins! BASE RECIPE⬇️ •1 C oats, old fashioned rolled •1/2 C nuts &/or seeds of choice •1 tsp cinnamon •1/4 tsp salt •2-4 Tbsp honey or maple syrup •2 Tbsp avocado oil or melted coconut oil •1 tsp vanilla extract *additional mix ins: dried coconut (unsweetened) dried fruit like apricots, strawberries, mango chocolate chips Instructions: Combine all ingredients into a bowl & mix, making sure to leave out any mix ins you will be adding after baking (dried fruit, chocolate chips, chia & flax, ect). Granola should be slightly wet, add more oil if needed. Then line your air fryer with parchment paper and press granola in a thin layer over the parchment paper. There should not be gaps between the granola peices. Air fry at 330 F for 8-12 minutes until lightly golden brown and crispy. The granola will continue to brown as it cools so be careful not to overcook. Remove the air fryer basket & allow granola to cool for a couple of minutes still in the basket. Then remove the parchment paper, being careful not to disturb the granola too much. Allow it to fully cool before mixing it or removing it from the parchment paper. This allows the granola to cool in clumps, so it you don’t want any clumps or clusters, mix it while it is still warm. Once cool, add any addional mix ins & store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
