The family services place where I volunteer gets all of the bread from the local markets and food places.

If it’s sliced it can’t be donated, but otherwise everything gets donated, but if they don’t come to pick it up, it just gets thrown out usually

Former Panera employee here! They bake everything fresh daily so if no one comes to pick up donations they trash it all. I’ve taken home BAGS at atime
