Honestly I like that idea better. As a farmer all I would need is to have brackets built in the engine compartment and this kit dropped in.

what you need to do is turn the diff and top drive it with 1 electric motor. you loose too much power on rotating mass.

way easier to convince truckers/companies to pay for a hybrid swap when the cost is easier to swallow. slightly less efficient, much more effective

I think for retrofitting old trucks into electronic drive this would be cheaper and easier to supply it shipping wise vs full axles

the other advantage would be at higher RPM is better cooling on the motor and also less stress on the internal wiring.

my design was more of a hybrid design. 2 drivelines. 2 seperate axles. 2 seperate motors all synced together.
