Make sure that the PIO is injected in the right spot! We started way too low and I was miserable and in pain. After ice and correct spot it was ok!

POI isn't bad if you heat the area for 5 minutes before injection. at least for me it wasn't. I think out of all, Menopur was the worst hands down

Invest in a heating pad. That helped after the pio shots. have the nurse Mark your spots on both sides so your hubby knows the right area!

The first few PIO shots suck but after that it’s easy and you get used to it. I will say rub rub rub you bum on the area after the injection to help

I took lupron for 17 weeks. 7 weeks prior to transfer and then until week 12 of pregnancy. Side effects were manageable. Good luck and baby dust 🙏🏼
