this is pretty far off at higher weights. I'm 6'4 and 285. it tells me 3900 with light activity. that's over 1k over what it should be.

I think this methods great for smaller people but I’m at 3140 on this method and only 2200 on the method I was using. Barely losing at that 2200.

Makes a lot of sense because you subtract 500 a day x 7 days a week and by calculation you’ll lose a pound a week. A pound = roughly 3500 calories.
