I definitely don’t regret my ACL reconstruction. The constant instability was terrible and to ski I need to pivot. I am happy with it.

We constantly underestimate our body’s ability to heal.

Is this applicable to a complete separation or just a minor tear? Or both? Very interesting none the less

Misleading video with misleading conclusion. Many ACL tears are managed non op in older individuals and never heal but pts do fine.

“No benefit over non-surgical care” does NOT mean “worthless.” It means both are options depending on the situation.

I would suppose that surgery is probably best reserved for those with completely torn ACLs. if it's only a partial it seems it'll put itself back.

I’m curious where you get “You don’t NEED an ACL” from? I skimmed through the article you put up, but I didn’t see anything that mentioned something
