Worst thing that happens if you’re early: kill a few hours in the airport. Worst thing that happens if you’re late: miss your flight. 3h early is 👍🏻

Domestic/intra Schengen flight without check-in luggage: 1 hour. With luggage 2 hours. Intercontinental 3 hours.

im with the bf. way back stuff was less automated, people travelled less, no google maps, less reliable commute times etc. so it did probs take longer
