I’d give the footnote that sometimes getting genetic testing is vital for the peds/NICU doc to be able to prepare and give baby better outcomes

Found out mine has trisomy 13. Heartbreaking decision to say goodbye but I couldn’t go through the pregnancy knowing the outcome.

We did do it. Fertility issues and pregnancy loss made us want to know early on, so we could restart the conception process sooner

I chose to do genetic screening and in the process learned that my husband and I are both carriers for the cystic fibrosis gene! Due in April!

I’m so glad I did the genetic testing… I found out he had trisomy 18 and had so much time to plan. Otherwise I wouldn’t have known until 35 weeks.

I declined genetic testing, the office was not amused, then they called my husband to change my mind. It did not go well for them 😂😂
