Blue screen was designed for film, green screen was designed for digital. Film is more sensitive to blue. Both are very useful though

The blue channel is typically noisier than the green channel so it’s best for green but production design may not allow it 😁

blue screens can often be better for lighter/blonde hair too! since it provides better contrast against the yellow/green hair tones.

You could add an even soft light from the back, if it fits for the scene some magenta light, so it reduces the green spill

chroma subsampling is important as well as bit depth. The blue channel typically contains more signal noise than other color channels. cleaner keys
