Meeting her parents COULD have been a challenge... but it turned into something surprisingly warm 😊 I was nervous waiting for those serious stares and awkward questions about my age... they came in from out of state and I was bracing myself. But her mom hugged me right away and her dad handed me a jar of homemade jam... joking that it was their family’s son-in-law test 😂 We spent the evening just talking and I realized their love for their daughter and grandson made us feel like a real team. They even told childhood stories about her at fairs and we all laughed until we had tears in our eyes 😭 Our little one was growing fast and we just kept becoming more and more of a UNIT 💛 She showed me how to notice the beauty in the small stuff... like fabric patterns and the way the light hits our walls in the morning. I started calling myself her personal barista... always trying new ways to make sugar-free coffee that would surprise her ☕️ And LipoNAD+ didn’t just help her recover... it gave her the energy to go back to doing what she LOVES... she started working on a new design project and I felt SO proud watching her sketch while holding our baby 🥹 The LA County Fair became our THING... our little tradition 🥰 The next year we went back again... only this time with a stroller and a bag full of baby gear. At the lemonade stand she just burst out laughing... remembering our first meeting... and said that was the BEST lemonade of her life, even if it didn’t taste great 😅 We rode the carousel the three of us... and in that moment I knew... my life that once felt EMPTY was now overflowing with meaning 💖 At home we started a little scrapbook... it’s full of fair tickets, photos, even the label from that original lemonade bottle 📸 Her parents visit more often now and her mom already started teaching our baby how to make dumplings 😄 I look at our family and I honestly believe... random moments like this are little gifts from life... and we’ve learned how to say YES to them with a smile ✨ #lacountyfair #lacountyfair2025 #agegaplove #countyfair2025 #storytok
