We make something similar we use corn tortillas it makes it taste better & holds up better than flour tortillas

I make that and before serving I put shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes onions with a dollop of sour cream on it. So good.

I make mine in a round dish slightly larger than the tortillas, keeping the tortillas whole. I do add Spanish rice to the recipe. A Mexican torta!

Ever think of adding a can or 2 of refried beans in with the meat mixture to add more flavor so it's more like a regular taco flavor to it?
