I baby proofed because I honestly just need to be able to zone out sometimes and not watch like a hawk for 15 mins here and there.

absolutely! I only have dangerous things baby proofed tho. But little decorations or books on shelves, i just try to redirect when she touches them!

Cabinets will be locked, sockets covered and gate for stairs (I fell down stairs when I was a baby so not taking any chances lol)

I’m in the middle, not overboard but we have some cabinets & drawers locked and the tv/stairs gated off

I do not baby proof aside from plugs my house is pretty baby friendly and I know they have to know bc not all homes are baby proof.

Also, sometimes you won’t even be able to stop them once before they are dead. There are very real dangers that can take a babies life instantly.

I have everything dangerous baby proofed. Cabinets containing chemicals, outlets, stove, etc. but not like corners or things like that
