Everyone has a story about why they love a certain country. Here's the story of my trip to Switzerland. This was the day I was looking most forward to and I hope it would encourage you to travel to Switzerland. Of course, please learn from our mistakes. We could have really died during the 10hrs hike in beautiful Switzerland, not that I mind... I was holding on to a barbed wire at one point of time, thank God for callous. I couldn't feel a thing. My friend tripped on the barbed wire and it tore through his shoes. That's when I knew it was a barbed wire... I had to stop filming when we were manoeuvring around the snow with crazy leg cramps (I wished I had a GoPro though). We hiked off beaten roads until a dead end, and that's when Eda called the hike off. I'm super thankful for her wisdom. I would have carried on with all that adrenaline inside of me. Otw back, I also witnessed how my friend almost slipped and fell 1800m down. You need a certain level of physicality and insanity to start this hike. Not everyone should do it but if you can and want to, then please treat this as your sign to do it! The Switzerland views are amazing! I included this day in my free Switzerland budget itinerary as well. Go check it out. If you need more help on this, DM me on IG. Save this for next year's trip. It's best to hike the Hardergrat in August.
