A harness redistributes the weight of the pull of the leash yes? Better than choking your dog if it lunges or likes to slip from its collar.

On walks they pull super hard and there collar chokes them so we got them a harness and they don’t pull as much on walks when the have it

Sorry but did u know small breeds can suffer from collapsed tracheas and is recommended to use harnesses to avoid unnecessary pressure on their neck?
