ive been told those panels get super hot and kill plants under the hot sun. what do you do to mitigate too much heat.

tell me about the hay. I've grown potato in hay... but for a raised bed wouldn't all that hay create a huge anaerobic void and just create mold??

My neighbor grows sunflowers, pumpkin/ and corn in hay.. no dirt. Its pretty amazing. I never knew you could.

that's absolutely the best way... holds moisture, fertilizer. degrades slowly etc... 1000 times better than leaves and sticks etc
