In USA, it's called Family Medical Leave Act 1993 and cover up to 12 weeks. You have to meet the qualifications.

Yes! My mom did that 3 years ago. 6 weeks paid leave, 3 weeks in a resort and she’s still talking about that. It helped her so much 💕

Krankengeld ist brutto, bedenkt das. Netto sind es nur noch ca 65%. Manche Arbeitgeber stocken auf 100 % auf für eine gewisse Zeit.
