I have dark floors and they show every little minuscule speck of dust. I have to clean them daily at this point and it still looks bad

You need to mop them with hot water only, maybe little vinegar. Its residue of cleaning products. If you do so it will get better over time

Get yourself a Norwex mop system. Clean only with water and the pads with the system. It’s been a lifesaver for me since we moved and have dark floors

I know how you feel I have the same issues but the look of dark floors is just beautiful but yes its takes more to maintain them

i have dark handscraped wide plank floors and they show nothing. must be the finish on the floors i have zero issues and way darker then yours

I have dark floors, and all I see is fluff and dog prints. I wash it and it lasts a few hours and it’s BACK. Makes me crazy.

I stopped using floor cleaner and just use a tiny drop of washing up liquid in hot water, floor cleaner was leaving a residue.
