Single cab trucks they have to ride up front lol just turn off the airbag. Both my kids rode home from the hospital that way. No issues

My car has an off switch for the airbag so you can put a car seat in the front, but obviously has to be rear facing for early ages.

This is totally normal in EU, you just have to turn off the airbags and make sure they're rear facing not front

It’s totally normal here in Scotland, as long as the airbags are off, my son always has the front seat I’d rather him be in the front than in the back
