Native American did bend tree for pathways my guess is this was done for similar reasons as it takes years for a curve to happen

Flash flooding could knock them sideways too. Looks like they were knocked sideways then grew up towards the light. Hence the curve

It's not at all uncommon. The cue is they're all the same direction and time. Generally it's that somethig knocked them over, snow or wind or w/e.
