I put my son im his bed safely and calmly so he won't hurt himself. It is crucial that he learns to deal with his emotions by himself. I love how you have name his emotions, so important! ♡ Good job

My youngest used to have meltdowns. He once wrote me a note (that i still have) that basically said: Please just hug me when I'm acting that that.

they cannot hear you when they're in melt down. they just hear something to make more noise than. that's why we don't 'shush' or 'there-there' them

My 3 year old had meltdowns where he keeps throwing himself on the floor or into things. He hurts himself by doing this like biting his lip (1/2)
