ice is great for excessive swelling in some cases. keep in mind that in some cases, movement can make injury worse! know what you’re dealing with!!!

Icing reduces inflammation. I can say for sure that ice baths are huge for my recovery after long runs.

I believe it was a Canadian study that came out with P.E.A.C.E. & L.O.V.E. to replace R.I.C.E.. Really takes into account the importance of movement
