I used a timer for ever 20 minutes to get them to sit on the potty and read a book on there even if they didn't do anything praise them for sitting.

consistency, we did the no pants method for the first x2 days and gave a but of juice in their water to keep them drinking more for more practice.

use a sticker chart I used Pinterest for a free one and i gave a banana lolly after every 3-5 spots get a big prize when they poop for the first time!

I bought a training seat for the regular toilet so they can feel like an adult.... concentrate on one at a time, urinating then the other, give reward
