We have cpvc pipes in an older home and they are not holding up. The plumber quoted 10,000 for new plumbing

We had these. Our home flooded multiple times. We had all the plumbing replaced. It cost us many thousands of dollars

yuuup my inspector didn't say boo about it, got booted from my insaurance, had to get some janky policy, eventually replaced the lines.

my 90s house had no glue attaching the pipes that lead to the sewer, and then they planted a tree right on top. roots all in it

Yep my house had polybutylene pipes when we got it inspected. Seller got it switched over before we closed 🙌

Ha! Here in FL, the plumbing is in the slab foundation. Our 1987 house sprung several leaks. Now we've got PEX running through our attic.

luckily my home was built in the days of cast iron and copper everything. so all i have to worry about is terrible amounts of rust!
