RECIPE: mini egg brookies🐣 Some of the cutest brookies I’ve made yet. What Easter recipes do you want to see next? You need to give these brookies a try😍 . BROWNIE BATTER: 10 tbsp butter 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1 cup sugar Splash vanilla extract 2 eggs 1/4 cup cocoa powder Pinch salt 3/4 cup all purpose flour COOKIE DOUGH: 6 tbsp softened butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar Splash vanilla 1 egg 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup + 1 tbsp all purpose flour 1 cup mini chocolate eggs (I’ve used Cadbury and Hershey’s) 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional) . Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8x8 pan with 2 perpendicular sheets of parchment paper, leaving overhang on each side for easy release of the brookies. In a medium bowl add the butter and chocolate chips and melt until smooth. Whisk in the sugar. Mix in eggs one at a time. Add in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold together until smooth. set aside. For the cookie dough, in a medium bowl cream the butter and brown and white sugars. Add vanilla and egg. Mix in the baking soda, salt, and flour. Fold in 3/4 of the Cadbury eggs, reserving the rest for topping the brookies. If you’d like a more chocolatey cookie dough, fold in semisweet chocolate chips here as well. Add alternating scoops of the brownie batter and cookie dough to the prepared pan. pan. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the brownie is just baked through and the cookie is golden brown. Right as they come out of the oven, press the reserved Cadbury eggs across the surface of the brookies. Let the brookies cool, release from the pan, slice into squares and enjoy! . #brownies #brookies #chocolate #cadburyeggs #easter
