Replying to @Janica Lee “How do you do it all so effortlessly…?” I hear that sometimes. Well… it’s anything but effortless. The preparation phase for the holiday markets while having young kids is so brutally hard, it’s hard to explain how hard it is. Full of sleepless nights and crying babies who don’t get enough time with their mom. This season was especially hard to prepare for, shadowed by a deep sense of sadness and an empty feeling of “what’s the point”. Yet not being able to resist moving forward fiercely. But then, after 8 weeks of intense preparations and barely sleeping, in the final sleepless night of getting the pop up in Grand Central in NY ready for the morning of the first day, finally the curtains went up and seeing all the sweet smiling faces with their kind squinting eyes, all my beautiful goddesses came back to visit me, and reminded why I work so hard and why I do what I do. That side in me of being able to touch, see and connect with that deep feminine essence in each and every one of you out there is what makes it all so f***g worth it. And while we are all witnessing the immense amount of hate and violence perpetrating all around us, I remember that maybe especially now is the time to try and spread some joy, beauty and love. Take a step away from all that swampy mud trying to pull us in and drown us, and against all odds try to surround ourselves with positivity. I try to remind myself why I do what I do. I get to wake up and do what I love. I get to make girls feel happy and beautiful. And although it might not help solve issues far greater than what me or you are going through, it’s my small little way to try and do something in my own little circle. As some of you probably noticed, I am not one to delete comments or silence conversations even when they get really negative. I realize that there is no good without bad. And there is no light without darkness. So for now, I will just keep doing what I do. Love has a much stronger frequency than hate. And soon enough the good positive vibes will eventually come back, take over and win. Sending y’all love 💗
