I do a hybrid my thumb is on top but my finger is on the side for extra stability just thumbs is too unstable for my liking

With a controler that size thumbs makes the most sense but with a larger controler pinching and hybrid are usualy better

When I got into RC aircraft back in the late 90’s, pinching was the only acceptable style. Use thumbs, andthe oldtimers would laugh you off the runway

I don't even know what I'd call what I do 😂 It's mostly thumb, with a touch of pinch (my index finger as a brace) so it gives me more precision.
