I usually have nosebleeds for an hour or two and I get them ALOT. Like once a month or more often and I've never went to hospital but guess what, I'm alive 😀. Here's some info I gather over the yrs:

This definitely works. My son gets very bad nosebleeds and this is how we stop them. He’s 20 now and still gets them.

We keep a swim nose plug on hand for youngest. Vaseline under the nose for this dry season

I work in an ENT office and they do not recommend using Vaseline or any petroleum gel because it’s bad for the nasal mucosa

I had a complex hemorrhage 13 days post surgery. A deep vein was nicked during surgery. Dr had me saturate gauze with Affrin and pack the nose.
