try scraping the crack out to clean it first to get the acrylic into the hole...then do it over again ...

Safelite will go through insurance. Mine was free to fix.

In GA they will cover the chip repair for free, the windshield replacement will fall under your deductible though.

Insurance agent here. File a comprehensive claim under your car insurance. While it won’t be a glass claim, you’ll only need to pay your comp ded.

Where in GA are you? When we were there the only way our insurance would get it replaced was if we paid our deductible. We went to a private shop

in Aus we have companies that specialise in cip repairs that's fraction of the price. not sure y'all have something similar there

Those kits and getting it filled won’t make the chip go away. They just help prevent the chip from turning into a larger crack!!
