Do the boxers have two layers of fabric in the middle? I wonder if you could cut a slit on both sides and use that as a gusset snap the wings through.

Some sellers I’ve bought from on Etsy have more customization including width rovtop on Amazon are also pretty wide and would probably work with boxer

also a few lines of ultra flexible fabric paint (the shiny 3d style) adds grip, so if you have snug boxer breifs, it would help prevent shifting

Fabric tape, or skin tape (anything double sided) can keep them in place as well. Mine always shift if I’m walking a lot. I use 1/2 inch of tape.

If you aren't uncomfortable with physically wearing briefs then I recommend doubling up with boxers on top!
