I got to a 6 before they even kept me. I still wasn’t having full on contractions. I live 30 minutes away so it sucked.

If it hurts, check for tongue tie. 2 of my kids had posterior ties that were diagnosed till they were a bit older. Made nursing excruciating at first

Definitely try a n*pple shield. It helps with the pain and keeps mine from cracking

If it hurts again definitely have baby evaluated for a tongue tie! That’s what caused my pain before it was clipped
