There’s nothing wrong with the crack repairs as long as they don’t leak. I use irontite plugs all the time never have any problems

Q: Can regular shops do very fine surface finish (Ra 20) on alloy heads? Is it a matter of machine settings or does it require special equipment?

I have asked this of many different people and can't get a straight answer. If the head is warped, what do you indicate off of to fly cut it???
