How to Descale Your Iron & Clean your Iron! ✨ Notice a residue or calcium build up in your iron's water tank, or rust/burn marks on the iron? Its time to clean it! 🧽 1️⃣ Mix together below & pour into the irons reservoir: ⭐️ 1/2 - 3/4 cup distilled water ⭐ ¼ - 1/2 cup vinegar 2️⃣ Plug in & turn your iron to a steam setting. 🧖♀️ Hold or press the steam button until steam is flowing consistently. 💨 *This is heating & removing limescale in the reservoir & pushing out build up in steam vents! 3️⃣ Before tuning off the iron, use some cotton swabs to remove any mineral deposits or sediment build up from steam vents. 💨 4️⃣ Unplug & let cool completely🔌, before emptying out remaining solution 💦 5️⃣ To clean the bottom (

Fill the iron’s water chamber with ONLY distilled water, & turn on. 7️⃣ Using steam setting, run it over the towel. Releasing steam to push out any baking soda or gunk stuck in the reservoir & steam vents. 💨 *The longer the threads on the towel = easier to clean the holes *Use an old tooth brush to clean out holes 8️⃣ Once clean, turn off & unplug. Letting it cool before dumping out excess water. 💧 ‼️PRO TIP‼️: Leave the water chamber door open, when not in use, to dry better, reducing the chance of mold, mildew & build up! 💧 ⭐️ To avoid build up in the future & keep clothes at their best, use ONLY distilled water when ironing clothes, NOT tap water. 🧴 This will reduce spotting, rusting & stains. 🐄 🤫 P.S.
