I've done this for 30 years. But, cold over and on 350 for 25 to 30 mins. No burnt edges.

I do this too except I put it in a mostly preheated oven. Best bacon ever. The only way to make bacon. I discovered it by being lazy never looked back

I use to do that now I put the bacon in a cookie rack online sheet and bacon is so crispy
