I had 1 with cracked rings. passed both tests. checked cam. scoped cylinder and found some scaring in wall. cold was good. warm failed compressed air

On a hemi note that compression is not always off and a worn cam lobe will pass a leak down cam inspection requires head removal as the base circle

It’s cam in block. Pulling the valve cover won’t tell you much. I’ve also seen the MDS solenoids cause misfires

If it is a 3.6 can also be valve lash adjuster, also starting to see cracks on #3 down the wall from head gasket line down. Have found several others
