I have no duty to retreat if threatened, anywhere I have the legal right to be — my home, my car, or public spaces. If I reasonably believe my safety or my family’s safety is in danger, I am legally allowed to use force, including deadly force, to protect myself. This law protects me from criminal charges and civil lawsuits when I act to defend my life and those I love. Consider this your official warning.”
