P1: A supernatural event is an event not explained by natural causes. P2: The Miracle of Zeitoun is classified as a Christian miracle/supernatural event. P3: For the Miracle of Zeitoun to truly be supernatural, it must be unexplainable by natural causes and must be proven to be a genuine miracle (a miracle being an extraordinary and astonishing happening attributed to the presence and action of an ultimate or divine power). P4: There were reports of the apparition being in a praying position, which can logically be assumed because, in the image, you can see a clear color difference in the same area where the hands would be, and they appear to be in a praying position, which is connected to the Christian faith. There were also reports of a dove flying without flapping its wings and flying in a cross, which connects to Christ. A dove is also connected to Christianity because it is associated with the Holy Spirit. Now I have connected this event to Christianity 3 times without even mentioning Mary herself, and the figure had a nimbus, which is common in Christian iconography. P5: Natural lights cannot explain an extremely bright ball morphing into a 3D image of the Virgin Mary. Lights can make a truly flat image LOOK 3D, but light cannot make a TRULY 3D image how Mary was reported as. It couldn’t have been a lady who looked like the Virgin Mary because the image was 4–6 meters in the air, and a person cannot act like an “extremely bright ball of light” that then forms into a 3D image of Mary. P6: Other skeptics say “it was due to mass hysteria,” which is defined by my understanding to be stress or other factors leading to a large group of people believing in something that is untrue or illogical. This could potentially be argued with the natives who had just lost a war, but due to the evidence, including reports involving over 1 million people seeing the miracle, it is not logically impossible, but it is extremely unlikely due to the sheer amount of viewers. There were also people who traveled there specifically to see it, making it less likely that the entire phenomenon can be explained by mass hysteria. P6.5: Religious fraud is another possible natural explanation. However, I have also debated and proved against the possibility that the event was caused by religious fraud, making both major skeptical explanations religious fraud and mass hysteria less plausible. P7: I have at least connected this miracle to Christianity in 4 different ways and disproved natural explanations for this event. Therefore, at face value, what we have is an unexplained event + Christian/divine connection + disproved natural causes. P8: Therefore, by definition, we would have a supernatural event that is connected to Christianity in 5 different logical ways. Conclusion: If all confirmed evidence leads to a supernatural event, a Christian one to be exact, and there is no sufficient evidence against it, you can logically assume/conclude from all the evidence provided that the Miracle of Zeitoun was a supernatural CHRISTIAN event.#catholicism #catholic #theology #debate #debate @∃!(CathoDri)🇻🇦 @SAINT PAISIOS OF MOUNT ATHOS @user03260856103
