I wrapped my all the time. The laptop died before the cable did after like 12 years.

i loop the first part of the cable to stop that sharp bend then wrap it, then it does not break and wear

uhm theres a solution to that one? make a loop first for the endpoint. then wind up the cable to those clips. mine are 10 yrs old & nvr bought a new 1

The thing is that the cord can detach before you wrap it around I figured that out when i had a mac book in school hope this helps

tbh no. Apple is definitely a total scumbag in points of premature wear... but you can just not sharply bend it. just do the first wrap not tight....
