im happy to have learned on iron sites.. definitely helped me learn marksmanship a lot better. but I completely agree... use every advantage we have.

They had us shoot last month and it was iron sights. Guess what? I came off the range unqualified for the first time in 9 years.

shooting in general I never had any luck with optics, I found it easier to either use peep or iron sights

I was trained and used iron sights, in Iraq some guys had optics I seen several fail. I don't look down on those using optics I just hope they trained
