legionnaires disease / legionella.. good way to prevent is turn water heater up to 150 for an hr then run all taps for 20 mins then turn back down

He installed this wrong. You either need a rubber gasket OR Teflon tape, but not both. He should not have used tape on these joints.

legionella- it's just from stagnant water sitting there at ambient for certain periods of time. if you just run the water every so often it works too
