the traditional way is equal parts mirin, rice wine or sake and soy sauce. You can use different kinds of soysauce, add sugar, or add aromatics

Hello, I have an intolerance to garlic but terryaki used to be my favourite. Have you ever tried or without garlic? I can use garlic oil also.

Made this today. Left out the mirin, used fresh ginger, garlic powder and added honey. Omg 🤤 this was sooooo awesome!!! Great easy teriyaki recipe and to the point! 💯

Just made this. Maybe too much soy. I gotta play around and panicked early but end result was great. I added a bit of shaoxing wine, sesame oil and red pepper flakes, which balanced out the smell
