I'm currently on mtx. It's definitely prevented flare ups for me and helped me manage my flare ups longer term. It did take around 12 weeks to work.

I’ve literally just started methotrexate yesterday for my eczema. I didn’t want to have to resort to this but the more I read the more I realise it’s really common and not as scary as it sounds

im sure you are aware now but no sound near the end, iv have just been taken off mtx been on for 2 years and my liver f test was too high. good luck x
