I’ve seen this happen with my employment cases too, if you’re fired after giving notice it can be a technical “termination”

I always cut them their 2 weeks pay and tell them to enjoy a couple days off. If a good employee I always invite them back if it don’t work.

my dad would always give employees a check for 2 weeks worth of pay and told them to take it easy and rest before their new job.

Depends on states but in oklahoma if you give notice the employer has no obligation to allow you to finish your notice

We did two appeals for Patrick. It was ridiculous and they wouldn’t even listen to him. Sucked. Luckily, the owners business is horrible now hahaha
