Hand molded picnic table cloth weight. the brass clips on cloth and it keeps it from blowing away. it hands on each corner.

Thx. It was used as a weight to hold down the corners of a picnic table cloth. Verified! And it would have been made in a cornbread mold.

My dad has them as weights on an ooold Swiss clock!!! They hang on long chains and the wait is somehow used to keep the mechanism running

It appears someone used a corn shape cast iron corn bread mold to cast the ear of corn in lead. Added the brass piece as a wall ornament?? Interesting
