The subtotal, undiscounted taxes & fees, and delivery fee equals $35.38. 20% of that is $7.07. I agree that tipping based on the delivery fee is wack.

The driver still has to do the same amount of work regardless how much food u order/how much total is. Ur tip should NOT be dependent on cost of food

They do that so they can pay the drivers less. Delivery cost goes up when there aren’t drivers close or there are lots of orders. Always tip tho.
