Trapped gas? Try these 6 quick moves to calm your fussy baby 💨😭 Not long ago, we were in absolute survival mode. We’d have an inconsolably fussy baby all night long! My husband and I were trying everything we could to calm her down. One night was so bad, she literally cried the whole night until 3:00 AM. The desperation was sooo real! We felt so helpless, exhausted, and honestly heartbroken listening to her in so much pain. 💔 After that night, I went on a mission. I started digging into ways to naturally help her with trapped gas and colic. Turns out, a few simple movements can do absolute wonders. These 6 moves were a total game-changer for us, so I’m so happy to pass them along. Save this post for the next time your little one gets fussy!👇 🧘‍♂️ 6 Easy Moves for Gas & Colic Relief 1. Up-down massage: Gently stroke down from your baby's ribcage to their lower belly. Think of it as gently pushing those trapped tummy bubbles down and out! 2. Clockwise massage: Rub in a gentle circle clockwise around their belly button. This follows the natural path of their tummy digestion. 3. Leg bicycles: Gently pedal their legs back and forth toward their tummy. It really helps break up stubborn gas. Classic. 4. Leg rotations: Hold their ankles or shins, bring their knees up a bit and gently stir their hips in a slow circle to loosen everything up. 5. Knee to chest movement: Gently press both of their knees up toward their belly. Hold it for a few seconds, let go, and repeat. (Get ready for some major sound effects… or more! 🤣) 6. Crisscross (arm to knee): Gently bring their right hand to touch their left knee, then their left hand to their right knee. This fun little cross-body stretch helps release trapped wind. 💡 some quick tips: ✅ Make sure to wait at least 30 minutes after they eat before doing these, otherwise you might get a face full of spit-up! ✅ You can do these exercises right after giving them a bath. That’s what I do too! ✅ For the tummy massage, you can use a baby-friendly oil. We use @Tiny Buds Baby Naturals Poot Poot 🧴 Give these a try and let me know in the comments which one works best for your baby! 👇❤️ #parentinghacks #colicrelief #babygas #MomsofTikTok #firsttimemom
