That’s not a radiator that’s a convector- I’m a plumber. Cold air is dragge in below and hot air out. That’s why they were always fitted below windows

I Thought the radiator positioned there prevented condensation and therefore mould…the hot air barrier prevents the heat exchange on the cold glass.
