Similar to my Blind cousin who is told “hey look at this” or people yell when they talk to him like he can’t hear.

I used to be, like, I am Deaf why would I ever need to read braille? Spoiler ya'll: The universe saw me asking and answered my question. 😂😭😂

After learning about Helen Keller at a young age (5ish) I thought that if you were deaf you were mute… the first time a deaf person spoke 🤯🤯

I went to the McDonald’s drive thru and let them know I am deaf. They gave me the braille menu! The braille menu at the DRIVE ThRU!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
