You truly never know where life will take you… PS- the link for the e-book is in my bio 🌱 My husband and I bought a raw piece of land years ago, lived in a tiny RV with our four young children and started building the farm of our dreams. Growing a cut flower garden wasn’t even on my radar then. One day, it just came to me that I needed to start growing one and I thought to myself “How am I even going to have time for this. I have 4 young kids!” 😳 I started the garden and what a wild ride it has been over the years. The literal places it has taken me, the joy the flowers has brought to others and meeting so many of you all because we love to grow flowers. I’ve spent 6 years answering 1,000’s of questions online from flower friends. I truly just love to do it because I want you to be successful in growing a cut flower garden too. One of my most asked questions is when do I start all my cut flower seeds. People see me sowing seeds in January and are intrigued why I am even starting seeds. It’s winter. Don’t we only plant seeds when it’s warm outside?! (No 🥰) This is why I wrote The Cut Flower List: a guide to 20 popular cut flowers to grow from seed, my year round seed starting schedule plus many FAQ’s I’ve been asked over the years: 🌱 what seeds to direct sow vs. start as transplants 🌱 what flowers bloom at the same time so you can plan your list of seeds for bouquet making 🌱 which flowers are cut & come again (explaining how many times you can expect them to bloom) and which ones won’t bloom again after you cut them 🌱what flowers need support netting vs. which ones stand well on their own 🌱what flowers to pinch for more cut flower stems and which ones would be detrimental if you did pinch them 😳 …and much more. I grow in Zone 7 Nashville, TN area. This 60 page guide holds so much more valuable information for cut flower growing besides my seed starting schedule. I believe any one that wants to grow a cut flower garden can utilize this guide. Customers are saying the layout & information in it is exactly what they’ve been looking for. 🌼 Happy Growing, Flower Friend 🌱
