wildlife rehabber here! it is a myth for MOST bird species that if you touch their babies they will abandon them. they do not have very well developed

Kangaroos get to 6' tall sometimes more. This is way too small and is probably a wallaby or a pademelon.

Bird thing is a myth too. Best to leave alone if possible but not a death sentence to put back in nest or move to a safer location if needed.
