But you can’t keep a new puppy in a crate for 9-10 hours when you’re not home. Many people get a puppy and do exactly that. That is torture for a dog

In Sweden it's illegal to keep the dog in a crate indoors, even for 2 minutes.

I disagree, my pup stayed alone from 9 weeks and he never bit furniture, destroyed shoes etc. I think crate training is not the answer.

My dog has never seen a crate and she’s perfect. NEVER chewed on anything, was potty trained pretty quick. This is bc we stimulate her so isn’t bored

I have had over 20 dogs and never had to cage one when I left the house. They are not things you put on a shelf and play with when you feel like it.
